He is currently a senior advisor to the Arizona State University Threatcasting Lab, where he assists private organizations and public institutions such as NATO and the United States Secret Service in identifying, disrupting, and mitigating future threats. He was most recently an urban tech fellow at Cornell Tech’s Jacobs Institute, exploring the implications of AI and augmented reality at urban scale. He is also a senior fellow of MIT’s Future Urban Collectives Lab, a senior advisor to Climate Alpha, and a non-resident senior fellow of the Atlantic Council’s Scowcroft Strategy Initiative. He was previously the urbanist-in-residence at URBAN-X — BMW MINI’s urban tech accelerator — the director of applied research at NewCities, and founding director of strategy at its mobility-focused offshoot CoMotion. Greg is a two-time Jeopardy! champion (and the only human to go undefeated against IBM’s Watson).

She was the 2022 recipient of the Transportation Research Board’s (TRB) Thomas B. Deen Distinguished Lectureship. Strauss-Wieder is in leadership roles in several national professional organizations. She was an appointed member of the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Advisory Committee on Supply Chain Competitiveness and the U.S. Maritime Administration’s Marine Transportation System National Advisory Committee. She also teaches a graduate class on freight and public policy at Rutgers. Strauss-Wieder has a B.A. and M.A. in Regional Science from the University of Pennsylvania and was a 2010 Lead New Jersey Fellow.

    Aquiles Suarez is the Senior Vice President for Government Affairs for NAIOP, the Commercial Real Estate Development Association, where he oversees the association’s advocacy efforts at the federal, state, and local level, and manages the association’s political action committee, NAIOP-PAC. Aquiles joined NAIOP in 2007 as the head of its government affairs office. Prior to joining NAIOP, he held a number of positions in the executive and legislative branches of government, serving on the White House Domestic Policy Council, senior counsel on the Financial Services Committee of the House of Representatives, and at the Department of Housing and Urban Development.

    Aquiles received his law degree from Columbia University Law School, and his undergraduate degree in government from Georgetown University.

    Shelah Wallace brings extensive commercial real estate experience to Nuveen Green Capital, and she is passionate about finding creative solutions to fund sustainability measures as a way to reduce carbon emissions in the built space, as well as aiding in structuring the optimal capital stack in order to get a project across the finish line. As the leader of one of NGC’s top producing originations teams, Wallace oversaw Pennsylvania’s first C-PACE financed multifamily deal, followed by the largest C-PACE financed deal in in the state. She is also responsible for closing the second largest C-PACE project in the state, which consisted of financing $30 million towards the ground-up construction of 2201 Allegheny, a Freezpak cold storage facility.
